(CNN) – Jon Ryan nailed a 43-yard field goal to cap off an incredible comeback and lift the Raiders to a thrilling 36-33 overtime victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday.

After completing 11 of 14 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns, Carson Palmer tossed a four-yard touchdown pass to Michael Crabtree with 21 seconds remaining to tie the game up at 28-28.

Late in the fourth quarter, Ryan nearly missed a 61-yard field goal for Oakland. The miss was later reversed on review and the Raiders took a 30-28 lead on a Palmer touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson.

After trading field goals, Ryan missed on a 42-yard field goal attempt to open overtime. The Cowboys missed a 43-yard field goal attempt that would have sent the game into a second overtime period.

Dallas scored the first touchdown of the second half on Ezekiel Elliott’s 1-yard run.

Ryan responded with a 61-yard field goal for Oakland to tie the game at 13-13. The Cowboys answered back on a four-yard touchdown run by Ezekiel Elliott to give Dallas a 17-13 lead with 10:38 remaining in the third quarter.

Palmer recorded his third touchdown pass of the game to Amari Cooper to give Oakland a 20-17 lead with 3:42 remaining in the third quarter.

On the final drive of the third quarter, Brett Maher made a 46-yard field goal to give Dallas a 23-20 lead at the end of the third quarter.

The Cowboys took a 17-13 lead into halftime.
