West Ham moved into the Europa League last 16 with a crushing 4-0 win at Rapid Vienna.

Late goals from Marko Arnautovic, Cheikhou Kouyate and Michail Antonio, either side of Marcel Sabitzer’s strike, sent the London side through.

The Hammers’ English contingent continued their superb goal scoring form with Arnautovic a bright spark up front.

Only Russia’s Andrey Semyonov threatened the Hammers as they made light work of the Austrian side.

Hart thwarted the hosts on a number of occasions as he kept his ninth clean sheet in the competition, with the Hammers’ first-half keeper making a string of fine saves.

However, it was Chelsea loanee and Austria Under-21 captain Marko Arnautovic who fired West Ham ahead after 24 minutes when the Hammers finally picked up the pace after a lacklustre first half.

Kouyate doubled the advantage on 52 minutes with a curling effort after edging past two Rapid Vienna defenders, before Antonio teed up Kouyate for a third of the night on 76 minutes.

Sabitzer netted for Rapid Vienna after a mixture of good fortune and sloppy defending on 81 minutes but West Ham were not to be denied as time ran out as Antonio wrapped up the victory.
